Applying  for  a  mortgage  in  Spain

 

Mortgages are available (subject to status) for all freehold properties from local banks.

To a non resident in Spain, the banks will generally lend around 60% to 70% of their valuation of the property.  In some cases, this can be higher.  This is available on terms varying from 5 to 30 years at very competitive rates.

Mortgages can be arranged and approved very quickly, normally within a week.

Requirements:      Copy of passport

                            Six months bank statements from UK

                            P60 or last year tax return

Monthly repayments should not exceed 35% of your monthly incomes.

If you are not fluent in Spanish, we will ensure that you are introduced to a bank manager that can converse with you in good English and is able to explain the terms of the mortgage in detail to you.
